Also visit Armley Mills, which was once the world's largest woollen mill and where you can now retrace the steps of the Industrial Revolution. Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Harewood House are also just a short drive from Leeds and well worth a visit. Situated midway between Edinburgh and London, Leeds is within easy access of major routes - the M1/A1 for travelling north and the M62 for travelling east and west.
